Welcome
Electronics & IoT Engineer specializing in PCB design, electronic prototyping, automotive systems, and smart IT solutions.
Electronics engineer with international experience in academia, R&D, and industry
Fauzan Khairi Che Harun received his BEng degree in Electrical-Electronics Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2003. He then further his study in the area of biomedical engineering in University of Warwick where he was awarded with MSc in Advanced Electronic (2005) and PhD in Engineering (2010). He was previously trained (short term attachment) at Ecole Polytechnique de Nantes, France (Built in Test Circuitry) and University of Oldenburg, Germany (Project Management and Leadership).
He was the Deputy Director (Global Education) at UTM International, responsible for student mobility and international partnership in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He also serves as the Erasmus university coordinator from 2011 to 2018, managing exchange and capacity building between UTM and European Partner universities. He is the coordinator for one Erasmus Plus CBHE project with 12 university partners.
Apart from his administrative work, he is also active in teaching and learning initiative in UTM. He is a master trainer in a few teaching methods (CDIO, Peer Instruction, Active Learning) in the New Academia Learning Initiative, UTM. He also developed tools for teaching and learning including web based clicker system and online based peer assessment system.
He also lead accreditation effort of Biomedical Engineering faculty to obtain full accreditation from Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC) in 2013. He is familiar with accreditation process as well as ISO 9001 in UTM.
